Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences

(Thursday, 3 April - Friday, 4 April)

25 March 2025

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for your continued support of our school and your child's education. We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences, scheduled for Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4. These conferences provide an invaluable opportunity for you to engage with your child's teachers, discuss their progress and goals, and address any feedback or concerns you may have. We highly encourage all parents to participate in these conferences, either in person or virtually, as they are a crucial component of your child's educational journey.

To accommodate preferences and availability, we are offering both in-person and online options. In-person conferences will take place on Thursday, April 3, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the school, while online conferences will be held on Friday, April 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please note that Friday, April 4, is a student-free day, and no classes will be held.

Booking Interviews

Please schedule a suitable time for an interview with your child's teachers. Each interview will be strictly limited to 15 minutes, as teachers must adhere to their subsequent appointments. We kindly request that parents respect their allocated time slots to ensure that all families have the opportunity to meet with the teacher. Additionally, we recommend allowing a 15-minute interval between interviews (rather than scheduling them consecutively) to ensure a smooth transition between the next classroom or online meeting.

Conferences can be booked online from 9:00 AM on Wednesday 26 March, until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 2 April, using the button below.

Should you require any assistance with making an online booking, please call the College Office at (03) 8796 7373.

Please refer to your child’s SEQTA timetable before booking appointments to ensure you are scheduling meetings with the correct teacher. This will help avoid any confusion and ensure you have the opportunity to meet with the right teacher.

To make the most of these sessions, please come prepared with any questions or concerns regarding your child's education. Additionally, students from Year 5 to Year 12 are encouraged to attend these conferences. This will allow them to engage in their learning process and discuss their goals and aspirations with their teachers.

We value your ongoing support of Lighthouse Christian College and look forward to seeing you at the upcoming conferences.
