Important Reminder: Kiss & Go and Supervision

Protocols

30 July 2025

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We continue to notice that some families are not adhering to our Kiss & Go protocols and supervision expectations, despite several previous reminders. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and to maintain a respectful and efficient environment for our community.

Kiss & Go – Safety and Efficiency Matter

To keep traffic flowing and our students safe during drop-off and pick-up, please ensure the following procedures are followed without exception:

  • Primary parents are reminded to clearly display your student's name card on your dashboard to help our staff dismiss students promptly.

  • Remain in your vehicle at all times while in the Kiss & Go zone. This is critical for safety and efficiency.

  • Follow all directions given by our traffic wardens.

  • Cars may remain in the zone for no more than 3 minutes. After this time, you will be asked to rejoin the line by looping around.

  • Please be patient if your child’s class is delayed at dismissal as teachers may be attending to student matters. In this case, follow the loop-around procedure and re-enter the line.

Before School Supervision

As previously communicated, students not signed into Before School Care should not be onsite before 8:15am. The school grounds are not supervised before this time, and we cannot guarantee student safety. Please ensure your child arrives after 8:15am unless they are enrolled in the program.

Early Arrivals Before 3:00 PM

We also remind all parents/guardians that arriving well before 3:00pm and waiting onsite is a child safety concern. As part of our duty of care and commitment to a secure environment, all visitors on campus during school hours must sign in at reception. When adults are on site without signing in, it becomes difficult for us to ensure we know who is on the premises.

Please do not arrive at the College to collect a student before 3pm. Your support in following these procedures helps keep all students safe.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe, respectful and Christ-centered.
