Lighthouse End of Term Arrangements

02 December 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Lighthouse End of Term Arrangements

As the year draws to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and partnership throughout 2024. It has been a privilege to journey alongside you and your children, witnessing their growth, resilience, and accomplishments.

We are deeply grateful for the active role you have played in our community, whether through volunteering, attending events, or supporting your child’s education at home.

Please take note of the following important information:

Last Day of Term 4

The last day of Term 4 is Friday, 6 December, with an early finish at 1:00 pm for all students. Please ensure you arrange for prompt pickup of your child on this day. Kindly note that the canteen will not be operating on the last day of term.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

We understand the financial pressures families face, so we are pleased to offer a Second-Hand Uniform Shop to help you save on uniform costs. The shop will operate in the Sports Centre on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, 21 January, to Thursday, 23 January
  • 10:00 am to 12:30 pm daily

This is a great opportunity to purchase pre-loved uniforms in good condition at significantly reduced prices.

Please note that all transactions will be conducted exclusively via card payments; cash payments will not be accepted.

Commencement of 2025

The 2025 school year will commence as follows:

  • Tuesday, 28 January 2025, at 9:00 am: Year 1–12 students and 4YO Light Group
  • Wednesday, 29 January 2025: 3YO Shine Group
  • Thursday, 30 January 2025: Prep students

As we enter the holiday season, we reflect on the greatest gift of all — our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May your family find joy, peace, and renewal as you celebrate His birth. We pray that your holiday period is safe, restful, and filled with special moments with loved ones.

On behalf of the staff and leadership team at Lighthouse Christian College, we sincerely thank you for being a vital part of our school community. We look forward to seeing you in the new year and continuing to work together to guide and nurture our students in their educational and faith journeys.

If you have any questions about end-of-year arrangements or the upcoming school year, please don’t hesitate to contact the College office.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
