Respecting our Neighbours
05 June 2025
Dear Lighthouse Christian College Families,
As winter approaches, I hope you are all staying warm and safe.
Please be advised that Monday, 9 June is a public holiday for the King’s Birthday. There will be no school on this day. Additionally, please note that the school canteen will be closed on Tuesday, 20 June due to the General Achievement Test (GAT) for our VCE students. We kindly
request that all students bring sufficient food and beverages for the day, as the canteen services will not be available.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind our school community of the importance of respecting our neighbours and their
property. Please do not park on driveways, grassed nature strips, or block access to homes around the College. Our actions reflect not only on our school, but also on our Christian witness.
Romans 12:18 says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
We have a responsibility to show care and respect in all interactions, including how we conduct ourselves around our neighbours’ homes.
Let’s continue to build positive relationships with those in our local community by showing courtesy and consideration; especially during the
busy drop-off and pick-up times.
Thank you once again for your partnership and understanding as we work together to provide a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered environment for all.

Thank You
Thank you for your continued support and partnership of our school community.

Yours in His service.
David Holloway
Deputy Principal (Operations)
